Third time’s a charm! After twice canceling our summer member welcome event due to rain, we have come up with a new plan that will allow us to be outside, or inside if necessary. We will gather at a member’s home in Maplewood, rain or shine!

We are excited to bring back our in-person series in 2023! These informal get togethers center around a topic or issue affecting our community and the work we do together as Impact100 Essex. At each C&C a brief presentation is followed by discussion. 

On Tuesday January 31, 7pm at a member's home, Maneesha Ghiya, Deb Belfatto and Brenda Green will host a discussion focused on women’s health issues nationally and in Essex County.

Join us for a conversation on trends in innovation in women’s health. We will discuss exciting developments in areas including breast cancer, menopause, and maternal mortality with a focus on national trends and how they effect us locally.

How to nurture habits of generosity

On Monday, November 15th, at 7pm join us for our next Connections & Conversations event - a discussion with our own Margarethe Laurenzi on "How to nurture habits of generosity." Margarethe is the new executive director of the Maher Charitable Foundation and previously spent a number of years at the Community Foundation of NewJersey, most recently as its chief philanthropic officer. We are fortunate to have Margarethe as an active member of Impact100 Essex and look forward to this discussion with her.
